Kitchen – Day 4

I was out all day today (deliberately) – suffice to say that there’s a stack of black granite countertops lying in the garage and a new, unpainted, island in the middle of the kitchen.

The new, smaller, lower, more practical island in place. The cupboard on top of it is my new wine rack, as yet to be moved into place.

Tomorrow we move out. The kitchen will be finished (largely) by Sunday afternoon. How can I be so sure? Because the photographer is coming, at the request of the kitchen company, to take the ‘after’ shot for a magazine feature then, so it HAS to be finished.

This was the primary reasons why I agreed to let the kitchen be photographed for the magazine. Roll on Sunday!
