I think we all know men like that. Peacocks roam freely outside Zabeel Palace, home of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai. Pic courtesy of my lovely friend A, who tries not to run them over on her way to work each day.

Have the same problem at Emirates Towers in the morning! Peacocks just roam across the road with no appreciation for the rules of the road (much like DXB drivers!). They have an uncanny knack of just stopping in the middle of the road. Revving 4×4 engines or honking horns has no impact on them. They just do it all in their own sweet time! Beautiful sight in the mornings though…..the colours are just amazing.
